vegan honey mustard dressing
This vegan honey mustard dressing is naturally sweetened with dates and ready in 10 minutes.
- 5 medjool dates
- ⅛ cup mustard
- ½ lemon, juiced
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup water
Remove the pits from the dates and soak them in hot water for 5-10 minutes until soft.
Drain the dates and mash them with a fork until you get a paste-like consistency.
Add the lemon juice and mustard and mix well. Add the water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Season with salt, give it a taste and add a little more if necessary.
